The Inspiration
There’s something truly amazing about space, this vast universe in which we only occupy a place hardly the size of a speck of dust. It seems like we’ll never fully understand the scope of how big it really is, and that is something worth admiring. This is mind, it’s even more fascinating that despite this giant universe we live in, Psalm 139 encourages us that God knows us intimately, long before we even got here. Doesn’t make a lot of sense, does it? He has an entire universe in His hand, and He takes time to not only acknowledge us mere humans but know us inside out and love us like His most prized creation. You’re more valuable to Him than any incredible sight the stars have to offer.
The Breakdown
This is a completely digital edit, which is a nice break from the Unsplash action (not even kidding, 95% of upcoming edits used photos from Unsplash). Started out with a nebula, asteroids, and lens flare in Alien Sky, simple stuff you know. Ran this edit through Reflect just because and ended up loving the result, and finished it off with some light color alteration in Faded.
One great lesson learned in the editing process is that it doesn’t take running through your entire arsenal of apps to make something you can be proud of; it’s great to have versatile ones that can cut your process in half!
To infinity and beyond,
