Covenant – a word of little value to the average person of our day. A word that keeps families together, a word that keeps brothers bonded and sisters the same. That very word is what we put our trust in when we have a relationship with God, for He sent His only Son Jesus Christ to pay the ultimate price as a sin sacrifice to fulfill his covenant with man. That way, we can walk and talk with him day in and day out. But we have to do our part to fulfill this covenant, and that is to die daily and pick up our cross; to no longer love the things in this world and surrender our lives to the Gospel of His kingdom.
